Hi I'm Teagan!
I am a recent graduate from Coastal Carolina University who obtained a BFA in Graphic Design & a BA in Studio Art originally from Columbia, South Carolina. In school, I focused on all aspects of design from web design to social media graphics. With the skills I have acquired from the classes I have taken thus far I hope to perfect my technique and improve my portfolio outside of the classroom. I am extremely passionate about the creative field and have always been since a young age which shows through my hobbies outside of school. In my free time, I enjoy thrifting, re-working clothing, painting, and interior design.
I currently am lucky enough to be working in a ceramic studio. Having this job lets me to teach others while also honing my craft. I of course throw pots and vessels on the wheel. However, I have also learned to run a ceramics studio on my own; loading the kiln, pugging clay and mixing glazes as well as other little tasks throughout the studio.
I have copious amounts of experience as I have worked as a graphic designer for CHANT411, Coastal Carolina's central point of contact for students and their families. I also have worked as a lab attendant in the Edwards College where I assisted other graphic design students who may need assistance. I also had an internship with Coastal Carolina's football team where I was able to be part of the creative team and focus primarily on recruitment graphics as well as senior spotlight. Not to mention, I also have experience in sneaker design, as I enrolled in a course through the Fashion Institute of Technology where I now have a certificate in sneaker design. This program taught me the history of sneakers as well as every step along the process of creating and manufacturing a shoe.
